The White Deer

Brief:

I was approached to design a new hotel’s brand identity in Nara, Japan. The client highlights her personal experiences and wanted the hotel to be a haven for solo female travellers and creating a brand that is more than a hotel, but a hub for travellers to meet and share stories.

Response:

The branding had to support the hotels’ objective, but also reflect an approachable hotel for all ages. I took inspiration from where the hotel is located. Nara, Japan was once the capital of Japan and has a vast national parks to explore as a tourist. The mountain range is everywhere you look in Nara, therefore it felt fitting to have a logo inspired by it.
