Final Frenzy

When England get to a final in everything it’s a big deal, but when it involves football! Well, the country goes into a frenzy and that’s exactly what happen in the Euro final of 2021. You could sense something in the air, there was genuine belief that this could be England’s year. I decided to head to Piccadilly Square to capture the madness ahead of the Final. The English football fan did not let me down and lived up all the stereotypes. It was impossible not to get swept up in it all. Flares, flags and every chant ever sung! It wasn’t England’s day and I haven’t seen that many fully grown adults crying ever since. But these images capture the excitement and anticipation of every fan that day.
